Uncut cakes will keep up to 4 days after collection or delivery.  Cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a sturdy flat surface in the box the cake is supplied in.  Cakes covered in fondant/ sugarpaste should not be never be stored in the fridge as the icing will sweat and the colours may run when the cake returns to room temperature.  It is recommended that once the cake has been cut, any leftovers be wrapped in cling film or foil to keep it fresh.

Are printed images edible?
I only use edible images on cakes and cupcakes.  You can email me high quality digital images (jpg format) for me to incorporate on your cake.

How do I travel with the cake?
Cakes are safest in the boot of the car as it provides a flat surface.  On the back seat, not only can it fall off in the case of sudden breaking, the slope of the seat and gravity can cause damage to your cake.  Alternatively, the cake could survive in the footwell of the car but please make sure the heater is turned off!
